Reuben

November 19, 2016 by

Little did we know how this wild woof off the streets of Pueblo would wiggle and worm his way into our hearts, soul, and every fiber of our beings. Reuben – our constant companion, our escaper of crates and hotel rooms, our giver and acceptor of unconditional love, our door greater and yard protector, and endless source of love, joy, friendship, enthusiasm, laughs, fun, adventure and antics. Mr. Reuben I PeePaws (he peed on his paws!) was our woof and we were his monkeys. He knew no fear and was the smartest, funniest, most inquisitive dog you could ever meet, was a leader among dogs, a partner on the trails, and earned the respect and admiration of all who met and knew him. Not to mention so handsome; just look at those eyes! And his fur, so soft, especially his ears. Everyone said when they pet him, “He’s so so soft.” Reuben, deeply attuned to and connected with his people, his pack, nature, and the world. He was taken from us too soon and fought right to the end to keep on being the Boobin he was. He was loved every second that we had him and had the best doggy life he could have ever dreamed of. We loved every minute of our time with you Reuben and miss you so very very much, you are in our hearts forever and our thoughts always. You are now my Doggy Angel. Run free and far with Dolly and we will see you again at The Rainbow Bridge. Love, Moomy, Daddy and Rocky
