Ricky was my best friend and my snuggle buddy that was always there to greet me at the door. He would come running around the corner lickity split and I loved every day of it. He would always help me in the garden or inside with all my plants. At night he loved to curl up on my pillows and sleep next to me. From the moment I adopted him at the shelter 12 years ago I knew we were soul mates. He was there for every good moment, every sad, and every moment in between. His personality was unlike any other cat and I truly loved him for it and miss it every day. There’s a huge hole in my heart now and saying goodbye was one of the most difficult decisions we’ve ever had to make. Your daddy misses you in the morning at breakfast and I cry for you at night. You made it a long time with stage 4 kidney disease and I think a lot of that was because you didn’t want to leave either but in the end, God needs you more than us and your kitty sisters will look out for you in the garden of heaven now.
