Sam came to us special delivery via plane from Oklahoma as a wonderful Christmas present. He was the eternal puppy–always smiling! He would be so excited to see us whether it had been 5 minutes or 5 days since he last saw us. A friend once said if she could find a man who was that excited to see her she might get married again!! He was my husband’s constant companion when I went to Oklahoma to care for family members–for 3 years!! He tried so very hard to stay with us even when he got so very sick. We will always love him and miss him–especially that smile and wiggly backside!!
