It is with a shattered heart and tears in our eyes that we write this. Sammy was our beloved child for five years. She was a rabbit who did not know she was a rabbit. She was our constant shadow watching over us just as much as we watched over her. She was a small package whose energy filled our home and yard. She taught us patience and the true meaning of unconditional love. She brought us pure joy and gave us a purpose. We are better people because of her. We had to say our goodbyes to her way to soon. We had found out a week earlier that she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. After holding out hope that Sammy could pull through, we had to come to the realization that it was time to say goodbye. Surrounded by the ones she loved and the ones who loved her, we were able to say goodbye in the comfort of her own surroundings. Thank you to Dr.Cooney with Homes to Heaven for letting us honor her with all the grace and dignity she so deserved.
Sammy we hope that you have found that perfect garden surrounded by clover to keep you busy until we meet up with you again. You are so loved and missed!
