Satan never lived up to his name; he was just too sweet loving. However, Satan had the energy of a demon until his final days. Satan could run after his toys for hours in the backyard and would just as soon die from exhaustion before he would ever stop chasing them. He possessed the strength of a significantly-larger elephant; I could sit on the ground and grab one of his toys while he pulled me across the patio without a second thought. Speaking of large animals, he always thought that if he couldn’t see you, then he must be invisible. I know this because he loved to “hide” behind posts and chairs so he didn’t have to come inside. Satan loved being outside so much he would “ask” to go outside by getting all up in your business and howling directly into your face and soul. This was on brand for him, because Satan had no concept of your personal space; it was all his space. Besides, he just wanted to be in your lap all day. We’ll miss you, our sweet prince.
