Squeaky

November 19, 2016 by

On March 18, 2010, I said good bye to my bestest, most reliable friend of 17 years. My daddy had gotten me a kitten for my 17th birthday. As the runt of the litter (she never got over 8 pounds), she fit perfectly into the palm of my hand. I had never been so excited to have my very own pet! I named her Squeaky because she never really meowed, just squeaked. Comical. and now.. so VERY missed.
Squeaky was with me through thick and thin, always greeting me at the door when I came home. She saw the birth of both my daughters and tho she never really took to anyone invading her space, she remained a loyal companion and confidant to me and my girls.  I could always count on her. She never let me cry alone, celebrate alone, or sleep alone. She was such a permanent fixture to my life.  I thought for sure I would never have to say good bye until her health declined slowly over the course of the last year. I wanted her to be here, at home with me when she passed, so she would know that I was with her til the end like she had been with me the last 17 years. I love you Squeaky. Thank you for being so much a part of my life. Our memories keep us close always.

Your beloved pet is sick

The diagnosis and subsequent prognosis aren't good. Now is the time to contemplate advanced animal hospice care or putting your pet to sleep (euthanasia). But where do you turn for help? What are the next steps? How do you make this final period of your companion’s life as peaceful as possible? Read more...

Our promise to you

We will be there with you through this process - before, during, and even years after you say goodbye to your beloved pet. Call (970) 412-6212
