We can only imagine Stella had a hard go at life before she came to us to be loved and spoiled. We rescued her after someone dumped her on the side of the road. We called Larimer animal control and were able to get her. We knew she needed us, and we needed her. When we got her, she could barely walk, was overweight and in extreme pain due to most her teeth and gums infected. We got her teeth pulled ( except 2) , got her on a good diet, walking and lots of love. We, along with the vet, thought she could do about 6 months, well…she showed everyone and she left us today after giving us love for 14 months! She loved her dad and followed him everywhere. She loved to be touched, kissed, cuddled and like all pugs, she loved food. She tolerated her brother 🙂 I will miss her sweetness, her snorts, her snoring and her adorable tongue hanging out. I pray she is now running without pain and I cannot wait to see her again someday.
