Our faithful companion, Sully Wachtman, a silver lab born on Nov. 21, 2015 crossed the rainbow bridge on Dec. 26, 2025 at the young age of 10. Sully came into our lives at just 8 weeks old, a whirlwind of puppy energy that quickly turned into the barker and chief of the family. This rightfully earned him a doormat that reads “Warning! The dog is a dickhead”. Please don’t be offended because he really is a dick but the minute you open the front door, he is trying to be your best friend!
Sully had many hobbies as dogs do! His favorites included tearing every toy in shreds, cuddling with his Mom and Dad, eating everything he couldn’t have (because he was allergic to EVERYTHING) and acting like a total spaz when it was time to eat. You would think he was trying to beat his personal best from the hour or day before! His most favorite though, was his naps in front of the fireplace or outside under the blazing sun, and his nightly walks off leash in front of our house so he could mark every inch of our yard.
Sully loved his frozen broccoli, boxes, plastic bottles, his Starbucks full of peanut butter, baseboards, carpet, couches and much more!
We will forever miss his cuddles, his constant need for attention, his love and excitement for new toys, his long staring contests, his puppy face in the side mirror during car rides.
Most of all the exuberants he showed when were gone for 10 mins or 10 days! He loved us and we loved him.
Above all he was devoted to his family to the very end.
To Sully:
We loved you then, we love you now, and will continue to love you forever and ever.
Love your Family
