Toby

Toby came from a large litter and was picked on by most of his littermates .  We adopted Toby and the another litter mate (Ally) because they were like peas & carrots.  Ally went to the Rainbow bridge 4 years ago and Toby has been lonely for her ever since.  He experienced many illnesses but was large, loyal and nothing but love.   We went to the lake and Ally went right into the water, but not Toby.  He wasn’t so sure that wet was his thing.  We eventually had to swim out before he decided he wouldn’t be separated from us.  His love of the water was born on that afternoon.  He liked to chase the squirrel and the ball.  He would sit in the window and watch for us when we had to go to work.  His job was to get the paper every morning and we HAD to walk him twice every day. He taught us so much and we will never forget him.  He is a part of our life forever.  Janet & Brian
