We picked Trigger up on New Years Eve 2001 after driving through a blizzard to Cheyenne. He was unsure and quiet when we met, but came with us willingly. He had already been through 3 other homes. He quickly settled in and soon was trying to herd our two young sons through the house and yard. Our love for him blossomed and he become our corgi boy. He loved to be with us at all times. He loved helping in the yard, playing catch with his tennis ball, trolling for food, laying on his back in the yard, running in the snow (even when it was too deep for his little legs), and begging for biscuits. Trigger also loved a good adventure and made dog friends everywhere he went. The neighbors all knew Trigger and would stop to pet him through the fence.
We miss him deeply, but know that we will see him again someday. We like to think of him running with his buddies and is happy, healthy and young.
We love you, Nubs!
