What to say about Tsar… well he started off as Applesauce by our daughters group of college friends in Boulder. They found him wandering the streets and took him in but was passed around from college home to college home. Our daughter told me, “Ya gotta meet him, Mom, I don’t expect you to keep him but ya gotta meet him”. And the rest is history. He became our gentle giant. We knew nothing about him except that he was adorable, sick, and looked like he definitely had some pitbull in him. He was not an Applesauce and a lot to handle in the beginning but once he learned what love was, that was all he became. All 100+ pounds of him. He was true love through and through! He loved his walks and the whole neighborhood knew him. He would stop and sit in our neighbors yard until she would walk home with us. He was tough and tender. Able to soldier on even when it was so very difficult for him. He will hold a special place in our hearts forever and has taught us so much about love!
