A mother and daughter duo got Willow back in 2000, when she was a 10 week old kitten. Willow was very special: when she was young, she was an outdoor cat and loved to spend her time in storm drains, but she would always come home for food and walking all over a person’s lap, as she never would sit or lay down. She also liked to talk– a lot. As she got older, she became more of an indoor cat (and more of an actual lap cat as well), and over the last 2-3 years, she was solely kept indoors. This frustrated her at times, since she liked being outside, but we always kept the blinds open for her. Willow was extremely healthy until, all of a sudden, she wasn’t. Home to Heaven came to the house on July 22, and all of the people who loved her the most were by her side as she passed. We take great comfort in knowing that she led a long life in which she was well cared for, and was safe and surrounded with love as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
