Wyatt

November 19, 2016 by

Carson “Wyatt” the Masked Bandit

Sept. 5, 1996 – Feb. 7, 2011

As dogs go, they don’t get any better than Wyatt.  He was an exceptional dog right from the start.  He never chewed anything in the house, was quick to house train, and was always gentle to everyone.  The home was his castle and he had free rein to go wherever he wanted in the house, although he usually wasn’t far from family.  However, when it was bedtime you could always find him laying by the master bedroom bed.

Wyatt lived an amazing life full of adventure.  He lived in 3 states (Idaho, New York, and Colorado) and was the best of travelers.  He was especially fond of the snow and with his thick coat the snow didn’t bother him much.  He loved to go out in the snow and bury his nose in it.  He also liked to lick the fresh snow right after a good snowstorm. Fortunately for him he spent his life in snow country.

Wyatt had many nicknames of course.  Since he lived to be 14+ years old, most recently we gave him the nickname of 14er, in reference to the 14,000 ft. plus mountain peaks of Colorado.  He was still going strong right up to the end, but alas his body finally gave out on him.  He was very brave.

Wyatt was the best of friends, was loved just like another child, and will be desperately missed.  Goodbye buddy…we will see you again in heaven with your other dog siblings that have gone before.  We will always remember you!  You have changed our lives.
