Izzi came to us when she was 5 weeks old. We paid $20 and little did we know that would be the most treasured $20 we had ever spent. Izzi was so small she could fit in the palm of your hand. Izzi loved people and people loved Izzi. Her best friend was my late husband Patrick who she couldn’t go a second without and would wait by the door anytime he would leave waiting for him to return. After Pat made his way up to the sky for his rendezvous with the Lord, Izzi and I got very close and would do most everything together. The last of her days was spent enjoying treats and lounging in her bed watching whatever soap was on the tv. She’s home with Pat now but I will forever miss her. Izzi lived 14 and a half wonderful years with us. -Donna Dorsey
