Zoey was a loving, loyal beagle with an unrivaled zeal for life. She treasured the sights, sounds, and smells of the great outdoors, whether going on a walk or just lounging in the backyard. She was a diehard foodie, always on the hunt for another snack and plotting her next attempt at infiltrating the kitchen. But most of all, Zoey was a devoted companion, forever at my wife’s side. In the 14 years we shared with her, she gave us all the friendship and affection she had to offer. We’ll forever miss the click-click-clack of her claws on the wooden floor, the soothing sounds of snoring in the afternoons, and the fog-horn barks to keep the neighbors at bay. We love you, Zoey. You will be remembered fondly and missed deeply.
