10 years ago, Millie Mae came into our lives. She was 2 years old. We had her for a trial basis just to make sure we were all a good fit. When Millie's previous owner showed up after the trial Millie ran right by him into the house, stating I am staying! Millie loved to lay out in the sun and be with my husband as he worked in the garage. Millie went everywhere with us but on the occasions, she couldn't, she was waiting in the driveway to greet us. She loved carrots, she would go out into the garden and dig out carrots when she wanted one. She loved us as much as we loved her. She traveled, went on walks, hiked, kayaked, and camped with us. Her favorite game was to play Rocket Dog. Thank you for choosing us as your forever home, Millie Mae! We love you! We had a great life with you. Our hearts are broken but we treasured having you. 🐾❤️
