“Bully, unlike his name, was the absolute sweetest baby with the most sensitive meow. He truly was the best!! Bully was tremendously loved and he will be missed forever! Our hearts ache and we feel his loss so deeply. Bully had many nicknames! Boo-Boo, Bubs, Bubba, Beuford, Bud, and Mr. Moostache were just a few among many. When Bully was younger he loved playing fetch with his soft, spongy ball, especially up and down the stairs. One of his favorite places was underneath the Xmas tree. Every year the minute it would go up there he would be under the tree until it came down after the holidays. Bully absolutely loved Smartfood popcorn! He knew the sound of that specific bag opening and would run right over. He also loved ranch, cheese, butter, and sour cream. Mostly anything dairy. He once licked 1/2 of the frosting off a cake. When he was younger, he enjoyed snuggling with his sister, Nala, but as they got older, they enjoyed tussling a little bit more. He’d always be there on our kitchen stool to watch us prep and cook. He always wanted to know what we were doing. We said he had FOMO. Even if he was comfy upstairs somewhere, if we went downstairs, he would soon follow, running down the stairs after us. He loved to dance with me either in my arms or standing up with me making him dance on his hind legs. He loved laying and sleeping in the sun. He really enjoyed going outside on the porch and walking around the front yard. On his last day with us, we took him outside to enjoy the sun on his beautiful little face one last time. He soaked in every minute on the porch, in the grass and on our walkway. He loved playing with straws, plastic caps, and pens. He also really loved licking bags and shuffling through papers. We would say he was paying bills or looking for his bookmark. To say he loved catnip would be an understatement! Every morning I could count on him to box me in my bed, laying next to me right on the edge, as I drank my morning coffee. I will miss him there every day for the rest of my life. He was my best friend for 17 years, 8 months and 25 days. Bully will forever and always be in our hearts. We love him and will keep his memory alive. He was the best cat ever!”
