We chose her as our 6 year old's first pet because of all the kittens at the shelter, she was the only one who didn't use her claws or teeth. That never changed. She loved physical play, especially fetching a thrown toy, chasing a laser pen dot, or "helping" change bed sheets. She was a bit of a diva, always letting us know, with a Siamese-like yowl ,when the food bowl neared empty. She'd leap into any empty lap and demand attention with an insistent paw. We have 20 years of memories and will miss petting that incredibly soft fur.
