My girl Maeby was the best dog I could’ve imagined. She was smart and silly, and always knew just what to do. She loved hugs and food. And I couldn’t eat anything that sounded like an apple within her earshot. It never feels like enough time with any furry family member, and Maeby is no exception. But I do know she had love, warmth, comfort, and treats and I couldn’t ask for anything more than the peaceful goodbye I was able to provide for her.
